Blog December 2021
I have become a crier in my old age. In my childhood, adolescence and youth I never cried. Now I cry for others. I cry for the mistakes of our government, society and clueless people. I could be now a town crier as I warn the world with words, not just tears.
The black community is going overboard right now, probably for good reason, but not for a good result. African Americans are now acting like the crackers and slave owners who have oppressed them for all these hundreds of years. And though these stolen people have had their history and bloodlines taken from them and have a right to hate greedy bigots, fighting hate with hate is never a solution
Black people of America: Why are you falling into the trap of categorizing yourselves by the dimensions set by white people?
If everybody on the planet were listing to my words and understanding my emotions, I would say to them, follow the Golden Rule and love thy worldly neighbors. We would instantaneously become a perfect world society.
Genius comes from the fringes of society. As long as it makes sense, the intelligent people will explore it. The idiots who just scream and yell with indignation and no positive answers are just stirring the bad soup. Anarchy is not good for anybody except the rich. The educated will tell you the most current common knowledge. "Smart people" are often called arrogant, but we are only trying to help you from making ignorant mistakes, which will negatively affect you and everyone else around you. We are partly doing this for humanity, but also we just don't want to have to protect our lives and families from your stupidity
The abortion rights issue is back again. It is not based on science, common sense, health issues or the health and happiness of the parents or children associated with an abortion. The objections about birth control and abortion are based only on religion and religious bigotry, two things that have also brought us wars, ethnic cleansing and death penalties.
My mother and father bred me to be helpful. Respect for others, curiosity, sensitivity and moral energy for the good of the good.
Capitalism gone crazy, stupid, greedy. Capitalists have always been greedy, and planned obsolescence is one of their most destructive crimes. Now the cell phone and computer industries, which have made themselves indispensible, are forcing us to buy new expensive equipment every six to eight months. And on top of that they force us to go back to school to use it. We, as the consumers, work to get money to give to them, we must now rebel again as in 1776, or they will keep abusing us.
I have been critical of the media many times, but I love the media, I don’t want to censure any of it; I just want the media to show both sides of the story equally, the good, bad and ugly equally. Tell us of what the Republicans said, and the Democrats said on the same subject, but please do it truthfully.
Literature, TV and movies, and definitely in the news I want facts. No supernatural; I want natural. I don’t want fantasy; I want reality. No paranormal; how about normal? Only then will I learn how to survive in this normal, everyday, natural, but beautiful world.
Most of our social and legal problems in the world right now are not created by poor people just fighting to survive, but by the rich and powerful inflicting their wants and bottom line profit taking upon society. Prove me wrong, and I will gladly just give them everything I have worked for all my life, just to get them to leave us alone.
I hope someday you will find yourself stuck behind someone like you. I hope someday we will all be able to pass through life unobstructed by our own ego or the ego of others.
I am a bohemian/beatnik baby, a Monterey Pop/Woodstock human being.
I sometimes feel, even now in 2021, that I am a man under a bush, eating the broth of a turkey that we ate three days before. I am hearing the low growl of the sabre tooth tiger out there waiting for me to energize myself before coming out to confront him.
Physical strength does not mean anything to me; integrity is what matters. Look it up. You can break a board if you know its strength, but you cannot fight its integrity.
If I ever thought I was doing all this for my own ego, I would kill myself.
Everybody has his or her buttons--good, bad, violent buttons. Remember you are also affected by you own stupidity.
A sharpie can express hatred, or it can spell out love. It is your decision how you use it. A piece of chalk can be mightier than the sword or more violent than a sharp blade or bullet. What is it that you want to see in your future and the future of your loved ones? Will you be one of the savers of mankind or its killer?
Back in the day, 1955 to1985, you didn’t need to be loud, obnoxious or a driven egotist to have a story to tell. Most of the stories were about peace, love and tolerance. Now you don’t have to be real, true or sincere to be a virus in the media.
Yeah, that’s what we need, another “end of the world” TV or movie right now. Or how about a new twist on “The Walking Dead”? If that doesn’t yank your depression chain, we need a world-killing meteorite or a Sharknado.
My email, which I have had for over twenty years, is now nothing but advertisements back at me. Don’t email me unless it is personal. If I want something, I will call on you. Whether we have had a business connection or not, don’t reach out to me. I can find you if I need you. I have real business of life to conduct. If you try to sell me things, I will stop using you as a source.
I wasn’t sent here to tell you what to do; I came to remind you of what you should already know.
Speaking as an older man who has only a few non-punishable regrets in his life, I wonder about you younger people who are about to or have already done things that are punishable mistakes or actions. When you get to my age, you will not be able to sleep soundly. I think about the girl I didn’t kiss, and that was my only regret, but I can sleep like a faultless child.
The biggest physical, economic and technical problem mankind has on this earth right now is the computer and cell phone and the lying, cheating and stealing industry that is promoting them for big bucks.
Don’t ever kill anyone. They may be more important to this world than you are.
Black and white, Islam and Christianity, poor or rich, it may seem complicated, but it could all be explained, solved, “eliminated,” by understanding that we are all driven by the same needs. Although often our needs are selfish, we should not deny our needs to be granted to others even those we consider “enemies”. ïŠ In order for us all to exist, we all have to respect the other people and other cultures on this planet. That would be called achieving peace. # We need a whole culture of people who are arbiters of reason, morality, good taste and love. A person who has no ego or economic investment in any eventuality is what you want for the deciding votes. In the beginning there was the creation of social morality, then religious suggestions, then the Boy Scouts and then hippie ideals.
If I were God, the good guys would always have preference over the bad guys. Right? Well now we have to figure out who the good people really are. Are you a bigot? Do you own numerous weapons meant to kill people? Do you pretend to be a holy person, yet you lie, cheat and steal from or to other people? Do you beat your partner or children? Do you vote Republican? Do you watch Fox News? Are you lying to yourself or me by saying no to some of these questions of which you are guilty? If you answered yes to three or more of these questions, then you are not a good person. Don’t lie to yourself because when you do, you are betraying yourself, other people and your God.
The word Capitalist has many definitions: in 200 AD, he was the man with the power and money; in 1000 AD, he was our oppressor; in 1500 AD, he was the feudal lord, the owner of everything; 1767 AD, he was the man we must leave behind in order to get on with our lives; in 1862, he was the bigot and slave owner we needed to defeat in order to live our lives in peace and prosperity; 1918, more of the same; 1940, again this time a fascist; 1955, McCarthy witch hunters; in 2021 AD, Capitalists are still our oppressor.
The 1960s were the awakening of a counterculture that demanded freedom, peace and understanding.
Hear and think about what you hear and listen to it, and change your thinking if what you hear is the truth.
In media, truth is now considered an arbitrary thing, or so they think. Nothing is as pure as the truth.
Those people who reason only of their own self, wants and needs, are missing out on the warmth of togetherness.
You cannot stop people from sex, drugs and rock & roll. These are not sins; they are normal human activities of survival. They are the bandages for beaten people, solution for despair and the allocation of an enjoyable life.
If only we could remember the future instead of the past.
What a shame, what a shame, that we cannot trust everything others say.
Some games only the rich can play, like waging wars with others dying, or gambling other people’s livelihoods. The rich can gamble all they have in the bank, because they have much more hidden.thebleeding heart liberals to help you prove your innocence. Curse you for lying about a lie. Curse you for not knowing the difference between guilt and innocence. Curse you for giving in to greed and forsaking true work instead.
I’m waiting! I’m hoping for life to become a stroll in the park, not a battlefield.
I have known the innermost of women. I could feel the muscle jerk toward me, or the hesitation to pull away.
Here in the United States of America, we have the best, fairest, most neutral laws and court protocol. The only problem is that devious people always find a way to subvert the truth, or obstruct the finding of truth. These devious people have also become lawmakers and have eschewed or perverted the laws to benefit the rich or “chosen” people.
All of us have primeval forces in us, the snake. Some people live in their primeval; the rest of us are trying to move forward.
In the USA for any immigrant or ethnic group to be hated, it takes a large group of previous immigrants or ethnics to ban together.
Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates, Jr. is one of the best efforts at making us all better human beings, by recognizing the value of each and every other human being.
I just want perfection in myself. I don’t judge others, nor do I persecute myself if I fail.
I wish I could hug you all right now!
