The American Nightmare has now replaced the American Dream

The American Nightmare has now replaced the American Dream, because that dream is reachable to only a small number of people. When the Pilgrims and first immigrants left the old world to come to America, their dream was to live free, support their family and own a place of their own. But the feudal lords, now capitalists and the advertising industry, have created new desires that have no necessities to fulfill the original dream. People are getting lazy. They have their cell phone, new car, computer games, and now they think the have reached the dream. The new immigrants to America are still hungry for the American Dream. That is why they are competing with the older generations of America.  Don’t work for the junk corporations sell you; go for the real important stuff, the home, the family, peace and freedom.

Using people’s egos against them is what advertising does, what reality shows and car salesmen do.
